Roche Bobois - French fashion world leader of high range furnishings – is a supplier of Galleria Cavour Green, a project officially launched on 9th June in Bologna: a sort of Off Expo, organized in the heart of the historic city, where is situated the very popular Galleria Cavour, within which from March is also housed a Roche Bobois shop.
The center of activities of Galleria Cavour Green is Galleria Cavour Lounge, a new multi-purpose space dedicated to events, lectures and meetings, but also an oasis of relaxation reserved for clients of the boutiques, where are also held the press conferences to present the project. The pride of the space is a private landscaped roof garden and a small astounding botanical garden. "Bologna is a city that we love and we are very proud to be part of this new project, which its objective is work and above all a collaboration for a better, more beautiful and livable Bologna" says Daniele Guazzolini, sales director at Roche Bobois Italy.
Christened by the Minister of Environment, Gian Luca Galletti and sponsored by the city of Bologna, with the support of the Councilor for Economy and the Promotion of the City, Galleria Cavour Green project, a result of the collaboration between Galleria Cavour and BolognaFiere, Official Partner Expo, will be offering visitors a sensational experience full of colors, scents, lights and an atmosphere strictly “green” inspired by the theme of the Biodiversity Park in Milan (created by Bologna Fiere Expo 2015).
A Bio-Tour of Italy, between the Alps, the Apennines, Po Valley, plateaus and gameboards, coasts and islands, to the urban biodiversity. Precious ornamental plants and original design elements will give a soul to the green areas.
The connection between Roche Bobois and Bologna, becomes now even closer. A liaison that the House had already strengthened in May, adding a touch of contemporary design to the hall Pope Gregory XIII, of the historic Palazzo Boncompagni, which is of an extraordinary architecture of the mid-sixteenth century situated in the heart of the city. Inside the great hall, which is decorated with frescoes by Pellegrino Tibaldi and with a huge fireplace of great artistic value, where the pope received the audience and now is used as the headquarters for administrative meetings and official ceremonies, you can now experience the art of living by Roche Bobois, thanks to the fascinating exhibition of the total white chair Ava, which creates a delightful contrast to the architectural and artistic character of the place. A contrast that has always distinguished the diffused art of living collections by Les Contemporains and Nouveaux Classiques of the House, which has its Italian headquarters in Bologna and an extraordinary store of 1000 square meters of great historical and cultural value, since it is housed in Palazzo Lupari.
