A new artist demands our attention in Galleria Cavour: Luca Brandi, Florence native, the artist who questions the soul. His artwork will be exposed in the temporary space that the “Galleria Cavour Green project” has devoted to contemporary art, thanks to the partnership with #FienilArte, the first Italian social art gallery, born on the Tuscan hills of Pietrasanta. Brandi’s exposition with #FienilArte has passed through Camaiore and the Lu.C.C.A museum before coming to Galleria Cavour.
Discovering the Italian Artistic landscape with this second date, Galleria Cavour Green wants to reinforce its will in creating this concept of “sustainable luxury”. Galleria Cavour is not only about GNP (Gross National Product) and Made-in-Italy, but economic and social forces as well, capable of joining ethic values, respect for the environment, and respect for the generations to come.
And this is why Galleria Cavour Green is engaged in projects that match art with the boutiques, supporting the initiatives and the events regarding nature, art, culture, and their protection.
Human nature and the soul intersect together in Luca Brandi masterpieces, hosted by Galleria Cavour Green.
A dialogue, between red tones and black ones, darkness and gleam, that Brandi embodies in his works, are a silent yet powerful prayer from our soul to the Infinity. Brandi has held deep secrets for the last ten years since learning about the art in the parlour of a sacred painter.
He has worked on the frescos in the churches that crowd Florence, he has learned the background technique and the skills to paint the holiness of the golden halos, and to get the spirit of time and eternity. So, today we’re questioning some fundamental issues, such as our relationship with ourselves and with Infinity.
“This bold artist shows us the way to find our true selves and encourages us in to embrace our dark side. He accompanies us in our quest for a deeper knowledge of our individual soul and of its dialogue with the ‘Anima mundi’ (the soul of the world), unveiling the harmony and the immortality of the universe,” writes Angela Rosi, the catalogue curator. The exposition in Galleria will make us think about “abstraction and holiness”, which is the title of Brandi’s personal exposition. The opening will be on February 26th at 6:30 p.m. in Galleria Cavour, and a vernissage will be held for guests. The exposition will be open daily from Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
